History Holiday Project
Pupils are to:

Work in groups with a maximum number of 5members

Look for a variety of sources related to the History of Singapore in th 1950s - 1960s and compile the sources in a file

Write an article for the local newspaper/magazine that answers the question "What is Singapore like politically, economically and socially in the 1950s to 1960s?"

Sumbit both the article and sources in a file by first history lesson in Term3, 2009 to ME!(Jolene:D).

Okay, so in total, you all have to complete 2task for this project uh, the one where you have to find the sources and compile them in a file, and the one where you have to write th article. I can tell you, the article one is more important. Lol.

THIS PROJECT CONSIST OF 5% OF CA2 UH, so MUST do ok.;DD


And Secondly, there's this games competition which we all have to participate as a class(I dont know how, but yeah, we gotta do it). I believe you've heard it from the annoucement during assembly on Fri right.

Yeah, so basically, our class have to create and submit 1 Game (e.g card games, board games in 3D or physical games). The theme is KNOWING OUR NEIGHBOURS.

Create card or board games that chapion values education.

The games created by the class will provide the opportunities for students to experience and understand the importance of values and how they can 'live' these values in their daily/present lives.

Woo, ATTRACTIVE PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. lol
Submission details are as follow:
Games developers are to submit a write-up of their game, comprising the rules of how the game is to be played and these should clearly be typed on an A4-sized page with Arial font size 12, single line spacing.

-All games write-ups can be submitted via email to jasmin_1712@yahoo.com OR by hand to Ms Jasmiyanti.
-Deadline for submission of Game Write-ups is Tuesday 30June 2009 @ 2PM.
-All games that are submitted will then be presented to their schoolmates during Character First perios on Tuesday 14July 2009.
