Hello alien/bitch/bastard/gay/lesbian/bisexual/transexual/hetrosexual/human!
I have no idea which one are you but as long as you're tagged, keep your eyes glued till the very end of this note.

A lot of you have asked me when/where the class outing will be held and I've finally came up with a suitable date which most of us would (hopefully) be in Singapore. I wanted it to be earlier but Jin Yi and I are gonna fly off so... too bad.

Okay I shall not elaborate further. Let me make this short and sweet.

Date: 09/12/09 (that's 9th December, for those of you who can't count)
Time: Anytime from 10 AM till 10 PM. I shall be there for 12 whole hours, you may come and go as and when you want.
Place: East Coast beach
Mode of transportation: No taxi or bus or whatever will fetch you 'cos I ain't Yan Hock. So you guys should just meet in a group and get there. You can google and find ways to get to East Coast beach.
Things to bring: Whatever you want, as long as you're responsible for them. Those who have mats that we can sit on, PLEASE bring it along or we'll have to sit on the sand.

Activities include whatever games we can think of, breakfast and lunch will be the food that we bought for the picnic, dinner we'll go somewhere to eat. You can swim in the sea and build sandcastles and play catching or hide and seek or pick seashells or ride bikes or throw people in the sea, WHATEVER. Just don't get hurt PLEASE.

Vivien and Whenn and Jin Yi will be helping me (I self appointed them HAHA).

Well, y'all should know about th closure of school for Presbyterian High for another week yeah. Due to H1N1, one of our school teacher was confirmed to have H1N1 . And she went back to school for meetings and such during th period before she was confirmed to have it . Look for a variety of sources related to the History of Singapore in th 1950s - 1960s and compile the sources in a file

Write an article for the local newspaper/magazine that answers the question "What is Singapore like politically, economically and socially in the 1950s to 1960s?"

Sumbit both the article and sources in a file by first history lesson in Term3, 2009 to ME!(Jolene:D).

Okay, so in total, you all have to complete 2task for this project uh, the one where you have to find the sources and compile them in a file, and the one where you have to write th article. I can tell you, the article one is more important. Lol.

THIS PROJECT CONSIST OF 5% OF CA2 UH, so MUST do ok.;DD

And Secondly, there's this games competition which we all have to participate as a class(I dont know how, but yeah, we gotta do it). I believe you've heard it from the annoucement during assembly on Fri right.

Yeah, so basically, our class have to create and submit 1 Game (e.g card games, board games in 3D or physical games). The theme is KNOWING OUR NEIGHBOURS.

Create card or board games that chapion values education.

The games created by the class will provide the opportunities for students to experience and understand the importance of values and how they can 'live' these values in their daily/present lives.

Woo, ATTRACTIVE PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. lol
Submission details are as follow:
Games developers are to submit a write-up of their game, comprising the rules of how the game is to be played and these should clearly be typed on an A4-sized page with Arial font size 12, single line spacing.

-All games write-ups can be submitted via email to jasmin_1712@yahoo.com OR by hand to Ms Jasmiyanti.
-Deadline for submission of Game Write-ups is Tuesday 30June 2009 @ 2PM.
-All games that are submitted will then be presented to their schoolmates during Character First perios on Tuesday 14July 2009.

1. Merchant of Venice - Unseen passage-based essay question (25m)
- The passage given to you is one that you have not studied in class. *flash back to last Literature lesson; what did Ms McNoe last studied with us?*
- Two-part essay question (part a and part b, total 25m)

You need to know:
- Synopsis/plot of Merchant of Venice. Know the storyline so that you would be able to identify where the unseen passage comes from
- Characterization. Understand the characters of Merchant of Venice and what they are like, and how they feel about each other, react, think, treat each other, etc.*very important*
- Cycle of Hatred - why hatred follows an unending cycle in MoV *very important too*

2. Romeo and Juliet - Seen passage-based essay question (25m)
- The passage given to you is one that you have studied in class *Read up whole scenes, not just papers. Click here to read whole scenes.

It has been brought to my concern that some of you really owe the Treasurers lots of overdue payment. This has brought of conflict and discomfort among our classmates.

From a treasury issue, this has became a welfare issue. For the benefit of all TwoFaithians, I urge you all to cooperate well with the Treasury Committee and not to give them any trouble.

If you face any financial difficulties, please do not hesitate to approach me lest we could further discuss the matter.

We will have to work together as a CLASS in order to attain a conducive learning environment for all. (:

For the PE shirt and pants, if the class do not have full payment, none of us will be able to receive the PE attire.

On a lighter note, do not think that the money that you have given to the class fund will be at waste. The Committee will be planning a class outing/chalet soon enough! :D

I will say this once and I won't say it again. The minute I see one more message with any sort of vulgarity or inappropriate sexual reference, I will take action, whether you are from 2 Devotion (which I extremely, highly doubt) or from any other class in our school. Such messages are considered sexual harassment and I utterly detest people, male or female, who would do such a thing. You may think it's funny at this age, but do the same thing when you are an adult and you will get hauled to the police station and charged in court.

This is a class blog and as such is classified as a school activity. Students who post here, whether on the actual blog or in the tagboard, are subject to school rules. For that matter, as a human being, you are subject to a moral code.

Offenders will be reported straight to the Discipline Master in our school. I will not hesitate to call parents and file a report in your dossier. IP addresses will be blocked. If the offender is not from our school and warrants further action, the matter will be reported to is athe police.

Lastly, only low-down cowards post under other people's names. If you don't have the guts to post something under your own name, don't even bother.
